Since 2018, our leadership team has grown Orbital Space from an education initiative into a private aerospace company operating real satellite missions — always with the same goal: making space genuinely accessible.

From a summer camp to the surface of the Moon.

2015

STARS Space Education Camp Established

The origin of Orbital Space's education programs.

2019

Awarded Space Initiative of the Year

Early recognition for our approach to space education and access.

2020

Orbital Space Established in the UAE

Orbital Space formally launches operations from Dubai.

2020

EIS — Kuwait's First Space Mission

Experiment in Space (EIS), conducted in collaboration with leading research institutions.

2021

QMR-KWT Launched

Kuwait's first satellite — a 1U CubeSat launched on Falcon 9 — empowering students in satellite communications.

2021

Code In Space Ground Station Established

Students worldwide gain the ability to send and execute their own code aboard a nanosatellite in orbit.

2021

Partner in Excellence Award — UAESA

Recognized by the UAE Space Agency for partnership impact.

Experiment on Moon Competition Launch

Opening lunar-relevant research to student teams.

QMR-KWT-2 Launched

Successor to QMR-KWT, launched aboard Soyuz-2.1b from Vostochny Cosmodrome — active in orbit today.

Lunaris Payload & MAP² Explorers

Our first lunar payload and a new UAE–Chile polar-desert analogue science program move into their next phases.
